Nellie Mae Lard (2-18-15) service 2-20-15

Nellie Mae Duboise Lard , 85, of Crump, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, in Savannah.
She was born in Phil Campbell, Alabama, the daughter of the late William Wiley Duboise and Hattie Mae Smith Duboise Maddox. She was united in marriage to Ollie Lard, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lard was a homemaker and a member of Bumpus Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lard sang regularly with her sister on the radio at WLAY, Sheffield, Alabama.
She is survived by a sister, Lela Pearl Davis of Savannah; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Verlie Dean Deboise and William Ollie Deboise. 
Services were held on Friday, Feb. 20, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Gene Hanna officiating. Burial followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Savannah.
