Chucky Reed (2-20-15) service 2-23-15

Chucky Ray Reed, 56, of Savannah, died Friday, Feb. 20, in Savannah.
He was born in Savannah, the son of John Henry Reed and the late Lavada Nell Boroughs Reed Walker. He was united in marriage to Melinda Faye Gant, who survives.
Mr. Reed had worked at Roses’ Sawmill in Savannah. He was a member of First Church of God.
In addition to his wife, Melinda, he is survived by one daughter, Lavada Reed of Savannah; his father, John Henry Reed; one sister, Debbie Mancell of Savannah; and one brother, Ricky Reed of San Antonio, Texas.
Services were held on Monday, Feb. 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Hardin County.
