Lillie Austin (2-11-15) service 2-15-15

Lillie Lucille Cossey Austin, 94, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Savannah Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Authur and Sula Lynch Cossey. She was united in marriage to Floyd Austin, who preceded her in death. Later, she was united in marriage to her second husband, Gilbert Austin, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Austin was a homemaker and had also worked in a few restaurants. She was a member of Nixon First Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by three daughters: Jo Jones and Robbie Jones, both of Savannah and Effie Franks of Union City, Tennessee; three sons, James Austin of Savannah, Billy Austin of Dresden, Tennessee and John Austin; three sisters, Evelyn Conaway, Bernice Mae White and G.V. Austin; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Floyd Junior Austin; one brother, Berlin Cossey; one sister, Edith Bevis;  and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Sunday, Feb. 15, at Nixon First Pentecostal Church in Savannah with John Robinson officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
