Martha Franks (1-24-15) service 1-27-15

Martha Ann Barber Franks, 82, of Selmer, died Saturday, Jan. 24, in Selmer.
She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Jesse and Minnie Mae Foster Barber.
Mrs. Franks was a finisher for Brown Shoe Company and operated a fruit stand. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Selmer.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathie D. Wilson of Finger, Sandra Kay Durham of Bartlett, Tennessee; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, A.C. Russom; husband, James Franks; a daughter, Olivia Diane Rickman; sister, Georgia Ann Barber; brother, Robert Lee Barber Sr.; and half-brother, James Arnold Pickens.
Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Tony Polk officiating. Burial followed in Falcon Cemetery at Selmer.
