Wilma Fullwood (12-31-14) service 1-2-15

Wilma Ruth Fullwood was born Sept. 8, 1930, in West Shiloh, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Lonzo and Dora Patrick Cody.
She was united in marriage to James Wallace Fullwood on June 1, 1952. Mr. Fullwood preceded her in death on July 12, 2008, following 56 years of marriage.
Mrs. Fullwood was a graduate of Shiloh High School. She greatly enjoyed working with children as a teacher’s aide for 35 years at Pickwick Southside School. In her spare time, Mrs. Fullwood enjoyed gardening, quilting and especially spending time with her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church and Shiloh Church Quilters.
Mrs. Fullwood departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 31, in Shiloh, at the age of 84 years, 3 months, 23 days.
She is survived by two sons, Jamie Fullwood and wife Marcie and Ronnie Fullwood and wife Joan, all of Shiloh; a daughter, Kathy Fullwood of Shiloh; five grandchildren, Robert Fullwood and wife Tab, Patrick Fullwood and wife Crystal, Brian Fullwood, Magen Fullwood and Boone Fullwood; three great-grandchildren, Rylee Fullwood, Cayla Fullwood and Sadie Fullwood; a sister, Marjorie (Cork) Wheeler and husband Bill of Guys, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Aurelia Cody of Stantonville; a brother-in-law, Bob Basham of Germantown, Tennessee; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Fullwood was preceded in death by three sisters, Oma Jewell Cody, Nona Lee Plunk and Ava Basham; and two brothers, Raymond Levi Cody and Junior Cody.
Services were held on Friday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Zolon Clayton officiating. Burial followed in Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery at Shiloh.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
