Jimmie Tidwell (12-14-14) service 12-16-14

Jimmie Wilson Tidwell was born in Hardin County on April 29, 1922, the daughter of the late O.C. and Fleetie Pearl Franks Wilson.
On Feb. 2, 1952, she was united in marriage to Aubrey E. Tidwell, who preceded his wife on March 3, 1994.
Mrs. Tidwell worked 30 plus years for Garan Incorporated. She was a member of Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville. Mrs. Tidwell enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, reading the Bible and attending church.
She departed this life on Sunday, Dec. 14, in Savannah, at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 15 days.
Mrs. Tidwell is survived by one son, Larry Wilson and his wife Shirley of Savannah; three grandchildren, Jana Cromwell and her husband Bill, Ronda Bynum and her husband Mickey and Vonda Hughes; five great-grandchildren, Lauren, Sara Kate, Justin, Melissa and Morgan; one great-great-grandchild, Harper; and one sister, Elizabeth McKnight and her husband Howard of Bartlett, Tennessee.
Mrs. Tidwell is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Hutton; and one brother, Burl Wilson.
Services were held on Tuesday, Dec.16, at 11 a.m., at Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville with Phillip Johnson and W.D. McCollum officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Hill Memorial Garden at Adamsville.
