Gina Bates (12-11-14)

Gina “Critter” Bates, 52, of  Adamsville, died Thursday, Dec. 11, in Savannah.
She was born in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of David Crans and Janice Harris Crans. She was united in marriage to David Bates, who survives.
In addition to her husband, David of Counce, she is survived by one son, Allan Bates of Bethel Springs; one stepson, David Bates of Adamsville; one grandchild; her mother, Janice Crans of Adamsville; her father, David Crans of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and two sisters, Tina Whitson and Kimberly Morgan, both of Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Walter W. Harris; and her grandmother, Ruth Harris Williams.
