Fannie Cherry (12-12-14) service 12-18-14

Fannie Bell Cherry, 77, of Savannah, died Friday, Dec. 12.
She was born in Savannah, daughter to the late Dorothy M. Cherry and Monroe A. Cherry.
Fannie had worked at Hardin County General Hospital for more than 30 years. She received the Outstanding Employee Award in 1980. She was a member of Graham Chapel C.M.E. Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorcus Cherry of Atlanta, Georgia; and her sister, Mary Steele of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy M. Cherry and father, Monroe A. Cherry; and siblings, Peggy Mariah Cherry, Forrest Eugene Cherry and Monroe Ellis Cherry. 
Services will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m., at Graham Chapel CME Church in Savannah. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
