Delbert Bain (12-3-14) service 12-7-14

Delbert K. Bain, 89, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Dec. 3.
He was born in Hardin County on Sept. 5, 1925, the son of the late Horace Edward and Margaret Ann Godwin Bain. On May 11, 1952, he was united in marriage to Jo Nell Davis, who survives.
Mr. Bain worked for Brown Shoe Company and was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Nell Davis Bain of Savannah; and sister, Sarah Margaret Bain Owens of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Teresa Jo Bain and Deborah Ann Bain; and brothers, Floyd Alfred Bain and Edward Allen Bain.
Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
