Margaret Mitchell (11-25-14) service 11-28-14

Margaret Franks Mitchell, 89, of Savannah, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Savannah Healthcare Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of the late John and Laura Young Franks.
Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker. She attended Cherry’s Chapel Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, William Mitchell of Henderson, Tennessee, and Danny Mitchell of Savannah; one daughter, Janice Lambert of Savannah; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Lynn Mitchell; two sisters, Mae Durbin and Mamie Freshour; one brother, Lewie Franks; and one grandchild.  
Services were held on Friday, Nov. 28, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Barry Bigbie and Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Burial followed in Sunny Hill Cemetery at Hardin County.
