Mary Frances Smith (11-23-14) service 11-26-14

Mary Frances Smith, 84, of  Adamsville, died Sunday, Nov. 23, at Hardin Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Getha Mae Carroll. She was united in marriage to Herman Louie Smith, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Smith was retired from working as the cafeteria manager of Adamsville Elementary School. She also used to work for Garran Manufacturing. Mary was a charter member of the First Christian Church in Adamsville.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Duck of Adamsville, Margaret Stephenson of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Carlotta DeShazier of Adamsville; one brother, Paul C. Carroll of Adamsville; one sister, Peggy Blurton of Lexington, Tennessee; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and second husband, Herman, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Ray Gattis; and one brother, Garlan D. Carroll.  
Services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with Randy Carroll officiating. Burial followed in the Adamsville Cemetery at Adamsville.
