Mary White, 67, of Savannah, died Saturday, Nov. 1, in Savannah.
She was born in Lauderdale County, Alabama, the daughter of the late John and Liddie Chaney Melson. She was united in marriage to Dock White, who survives.
Mrs. White was employed as a bar tacker at Angelica Manufacturing for 27 years. She was a believer of the Full Gospel faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Marty White and Tommy White, both of Savannah; two sisters, Margaret Kay and Becky Grady, both of Savannah; two brothers, John Larry Melson and Randy Melson, both of Savannah; one half-brother, Jeff Melson of Savannah; and three grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Terry White; and one brother, Ronnie Melson.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 3, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Duwayne Pounds officiating. Burial followed in the Wesley’s Chapel Church Cemetery at Savannah.
