Winfred Lineberry (10-22-14) service 10-25-14

Winfred Lineberry, 87, of  Clifton, died Wednesday, Oct. 22.
He was born in Perry County, the son of the late Fred Brown Lineberry and Macy Inman Lineberry. He was united in marriage to Jo Faye Westbrooks, who preceded her husband in death.
Mr. Lineberry was enlisted in the United States Army during World War II and was in the 389th Infantry Regiment as a technician. He was the owner and operator of Lineberry Drilling Company for more than 50 years. He was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Clifton and American Legion in Waynesboro.
He is survived by his children, Dianne Staggs of Clifton, Janet Barber of Linden, Tennessee, Patti Andrews of Waynesboro and Steve Lineberry of Franklin, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Sue Prater and Betty Jo Martin, both of Clifton.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Wayne Lineberry.
Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Riverside United Methodist Church in Clifton with Josh Layne officiating. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery at Clifton.
