Zella Mae Robinson Beckham, 95, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, in Savannah.
She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Orville Harper and Dora Ann Young Robinson. She was united in marriage to H.B. Beckham, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Beckham retired from Savannah Manufacturing where she worked in the folding department. She also was a cafeteria worker at White’s Elementary School for many years. She was a charter member of Double Springs Baptist Church and a 70 year member of Whites Community Home Demonstration Club.
She is survived by her children, David Beckham of Savannah and Bettye Beckham Crow of Savannah; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Ann Baugus of Savannah; and one brother, Joe Robinson of Brandon, Florida.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, James, Orville D. and Robert Earl Robinson.
Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jack Maroon and Ryan Gray officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
