Charles “Charley” Raymond Wagner, 61, of Crump, died Thursday, Oct. 2, in Tupelo, Mississippi.
He was born in Waupun, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to Catherine “Kate” Riefler Wagner, who survives.
Mr. Wagner was an accomplished guitar and banjo picker.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Stephen Wagner of Bellevue, Washington; a sister, Amelia Wagner Clark of Waupun, Wisconsin; one stepdaughter, Christine Wilson; and two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren,
The family requests memorials be sent in Charley’s name to: Sanctuary House Hospice, 5159 W. Main Street, Tupelo, Mississippi 38801.
Services will be held today, Thursday, Oct. 9, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Keith Smith officiating.
