Nellene Smith (9-26-14) service 9-29-14

Nellene Smith, 80, of Savannah, died Friday, Sept. 26, in Savannah.
She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Millard and Myrtle Cossey White. She was united in marriage to Jack Hale Smith.
Mrs. Smith worked at Brown Shoe Company for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Hale Smith; a son, Sammy Joe Hutton of Savannah; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Eldridge White; and one sister, Christine Cox.
Services were held on Monday, Sept. 29, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Becky Wilkes and Duwayne Pounds officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
