Annie Franks (9-26-14) service 9-30-14

Annie Freeman Franks, 96, of Counce, died Friday, Sept. 26, in Savannah.
She was born in Counce, the daughter of the late Henry and Ola Story Freeman. She was united in marriage to Taylor Franks, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Franks was a sales clerk for Woolworth Department Store in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Mrs. Franks is survived by one brother, Clyde Freeman of Jackson, Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Willie, Jim, Thomas, Glen and Hubert Freeman.
Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Scott Stout officiating. Burial followed in the Center Hill Cemetery at Counce.
