Josephine White (9-17-14) service 9-19-14

Josephine White was born in Hardin County on Dec. 22, 1941, the daughter of the late Audrey Jeffery and Ollie A. Austin Barrier.
On Dec. 22, 1957, she was united in marriage to Johnny F. White, who survives.
Mrs. White worked for 25 years as a machine operator for Angelica Manufacturing. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah. Mrs. White loved to read, work crossword puzzles, cook and can food.
Mrs. White departed this life on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in Savannah at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 26 days.
In addition to her husband, Johnny of 56 years, she is survived by her children, Sue Brown, Randy L. White and Chris White, all of Savannah; seven grandchildren, Shane Brown, Chad Brown, Courtney White, Jennifer White, Sarah White, Abby White and Callie White; five great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Brown, Tyler Franks, Ryan Brown, Acen Brown and Averi Brown; one sister, Reba Rainey of Savannah; and one brother, Elvin Barrier of Elkhart, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers,  J.V., Bobby Dean and Troy Barrier and 3 infant brothers.
A graveside service was held on Friday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m., at Memory Gardens in Savannah with Benny Taylor officiating.
