Malcolm Hunt (8-30-14)
Malcolm Austin “Hoss” Hunt, 80, of Adamsville, died Saturday, Aug. 30, in Humboldt, Tenn.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Robert Wiley and Mary Ruth Austin Hunt. He was united in marriage to Gracie Lee Hunt, who survives.
Mr. Hunt served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a carpenter for many years and at Schaeffer Lubricants before he retired. He was Catholic in faith.
He is survived by his wife Gracie Lee Hunt of Adamsville; three sons, John Hunt, Robert Hunt and Steven Hunt; three daughters, Mary Ruth Hunt, Patty Jean Reynolds and Ellen Anne McGee; two stepsons, William Gay and Donald Gay; two stepdaughters, Sandra Hill and Cheryl Simpson; a brother, Jimmy Hunt of Markesan, Wis.; a sister, Grace Franks of Savannah; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, J.C. Hunt, Robert Hunt, Robert Paul Hunt and Dennis Hunt; and one son, Phillip Hunt.
