Annie Norwood (9-11-14) service 9-13-14

Annie Sue Norwood, 71, of Adamsville, died Thursday, Sept. 11, in Selmer.
She was born in Lutts, Tenn., the daughter of the late Loyce and Jewel Holt Perry. She was united in marriage to Glenn Norwood, who survives.
Mrs. Norwood was a member of Adamsville Church of Christ. She worked for many years in the garment industry and was plant manager at Selmer Apparel for 10 years. Prior to that, she worked at Garan Manufacturing and USA Classic.
She is survived by her husband Sonny Norwood of Adamsville; a daughter, Lisa Shambeau of Selmer; and two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonia Norwood.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Van Vansandt officiating. Burial followed in the Mars Hill Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer in charge. Memorials may be made to Adamsville Church of Christ building fund.
