Nannie Dickerson (8-23-14) service 8-25-14

Nannie Marie Dickerson, 67, of Savannah, died Saturday, Aug. 23.
She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Marvin and Claris Perry Melson. She was united in marriage to Jim Henry Dickerson, who preceded her in death.
She had worked at Angelica as a uniform seamstress.
Nannie Marie is survived by a daughter, Angela Dixon of Savannah; a son, Shane Dickerson of Cohutta, Ga.; two grandchildren; two brothers, JR Melson of Lutts and Hershel Melson of Savannah; and one sister, Barbara Melson of Savannah.
Services were held on Monday, Aug. 25, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eddie Payne officiating. Burial followed in the Lutts Cemetery.
