Billy Joe Parrott (8-9-14) service 8-11-14

Billy Joe Parrott, 67, of Adamsville, died Saturday, Aug. 9, at Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Oliver and Minnie Mae Killingsworth Parrot.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Hamm on March 31, 1969.
Mr. Parrott, at one time, was employed by the McNairy County Highway Department and later worked in maintenance for the McNairy County Board of Education.
He is survived by a son, Bobby Wayne Parrott of Adamsville; and his ex-wife, Barbara.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Exie D. Parrott, Mary Phillips and William Thomas Parrott.   
Services were held on Monday, Aug. 11, at Shackelford Funeral Home in Adamsville with Andy Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Ledbetter Cemetery at Adamsville.
