Danny Joe Moore, 55, died Monday, July 21, in Jackson, Tenn.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Joseph Vinson and Iva Jean Smith Moore.
Mr. Moore was a mechanic for J.B. Smith Logging for 25 plus years.
He is survived by three sisters, Glenda Arnold and Glona Ponds, both of Savannah and Jennie Franks of Collinwood, Tenn.; six nieces and nephews, all of Savannah; and three great-nephews and two great-nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Simpson.
Services were held on Thursday, July 24, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Carl Copeland officiating. Burial followed in Centenary Cemetery at Waynesboro.
