Chester Cook Jr. (7-21-14) service 7-23-14

Chester Clarence Cook Jr., 72, of Adamsville, died Monday, July 21, in Jackson, Tenn.
He was born in Adamsville, the son of the late Chester Clarence and Vinnie Landreth Cook. He was united in marriage to Lena Harville, who survives.
Mr. Clarence worked at General Electric in Selmer as a production worker and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Adamsville.
He is survived by his wife Lena Harville Cook of Adamsville; a daughter, Christie Plunk of Adamsville; two grandchildren; and one sister, Jennie Daniel of Adamsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Gean; and a brother, Thomas Carothers.
Services were held on Wednesday, July 23, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Jimmy Cates officiating. Burial followed in the Mars Hill Cemetery at Adamsville.
