Norman Wiseman was born on September 26, 1922, the son of the late Frank and Nancy Wiseman.
He was preceded in death by Mary Wiseman, his wife of 54 years and his son, Timothy Wiseman.
He is survived by three sons, Michael Wiseman (Ruth), Perry Wiseman (Judy) and Richard Wiseman (Jennifer); a daughter, Saralee Couchoud (Andy); six grandchildren, Victoria Wiseman, David Wiseman, Christopher Wiseman, Kenneth Wiseman, Andrew Couchoud and Daniel Couchoud and a sister, Emogene Hensley.
Norman was a World War II veteran and prisoner of war survivor. He was on the Black March before he was liberated on May 2, 1945. He flew on 100 missions in the Berlin Airlift as the flight engineer. After the way, he was in research and development for 10 years. He retired from the Air Force in 1963 after 20 years of service.
He was a Boy Scout executive for 17 years and retired the final time from May Industries. For more information about the very interesting life of Norman Wiseman, attend the celebration of his life.
Norman went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 1. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 14 at First Baptist Church in Savannah at 6 p.m. Final interment will be at Arlington Cemetery.
