Deanna Jarrett (4-4-14) service 4-10-14

Deanna Lynn Wigginton Jarrett, age 44, passed away April 4 at her home. She was born in Jackson, the daughter of Bill Wigginton of Savannah and Jean Hillard Wigginton of Henderson.

She graduated Chester County High School in 1987. She was a substitute teacher for the Chester County School System. She married Mark Jarrett in 2006. They made their home in the Sweetlips community. She loved horses and dogs. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Savannah.

Deanna is survived by her husband, Mark Douglas Jarrett of Henderson; a son, Dawson Jarrett of Henderson and two daughters, Elacey Massengill of Hornsby and JorDanna Jenkins of Orlando, Fla.; her father, William Raymond “Bill” Wigginton and stepmother, Joan Wigginton of Savannah and her mother, Gloria Jean Hillard Wigginton of Henderson and two sisters, Dixie Bullman of Henderson and Destiny Wigginton of Henderson.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Levi Massengill.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 10, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors–Casey Chapel with Johnny Bullman and Glenn Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetlips Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel, Henderson is in charge of services.
