Earline Williams was born in Savannah, July 27, 1926, the daughter of the late Olein Alexander and Lella Howard Haynes. On Aug. 26, 1947, she was united in marriage to Claude Earl Williams, who preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 2003.

She was previously employed by Brown Shoe Company, Preston Carroll Construction Company and Piggly Wiggly, before retiring as a homemaker. She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ.

Mrs. Williams departed this life on March 14, 2014, at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 15 days.

She is survived by her sister, Modene Clausel and husband Jack, of Savannah; two nephews, Larry Williams and wife Kim, and Gary Haynes and wife Temple, and a niece, Laura Spradlin and husband Mike, all of Savannah.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, D.C. Haynes, Vernon Haynes and Elvin Haynes; two nephews, Paul Haynes and Gilbert Williams Jr. and two nieces, Claudia Haynes and Frankie Brown.

Services were held Tuesday, March 18, at 3 p.m. at Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah with David Baker officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
