Bernice Brasher (3-12-14) service 3-15-14

Bernice Brasher, 77, died Wednesday, March 12, at Lexington Manor. She was born in Madison County. She was united in marriage to Macon Brasher, who survives.

Mrs. Brasher worked for Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was a member of Church of Christ in Scotts Hill.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, James Macon Brasher of Sardis; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Joyner, two sisters, Doris Edwards and Nell Joyner and a brother, Frank Clarence Joyner.

Services were held Saturday, March 15, in Savannah with Phil Bridges officiating. Burial followed at Lebanon Cemetery in Saltillo.
