Jerry Barnhill (3-6-14) service 3-9-14

 

Jerry Barnhill, 73, of Savannah, died Thursday, March 6, in Jackson. He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Burnice and Grace Christine Linam Barnhill. He was united in marriage to Rita Austin, who survives.

 

Jerry was a retired millwright from Packaging Corporation of America. He was a member of Barnhill Methodist Church in Savannah.

 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Greg Barnhill of Savannah and Ricky Barnhill of Alamo; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, one step- great- grandchild, a brother, Dan Barnhill of Savannah and a sister, Suzanne Barnhill of Memphis.

 

Services were held Sunday, March 9, in Savannah with Charles Linam officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
