David Lewis “Dilly” Hunt, 84, of Savannah, died Friday, Feb. 14, at Hardin Medical Center. He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Claude and Daisy Lorine Bowen Hunt.
He retired from Qualls Handle Mill. He was a member of the Shiloh Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by four sons, Gary Hunt of Savannah, Larry Hunt and Travis Hunt both of Jackson and Davy Hunt of Memphis; a grandson and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lorine Stricklin and a grandchild.
Services were held Monday, Feb. 17, at New Creation Ministries in Savannah with James Newcomb and Steve Nielsen officiating. Burial followed at Savannah Cemetery in Hardin County.
