Mable Willingham, 79, of Savannah, died Thursday, Jan. 9, in Savannah. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late William Wilson and Beulah Shands Fox.
She was united in marriage to Frank “Buddy” Martin Willingham, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Mable was a seamstress. She was a member of Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Liz Phillips of Florence, Ala.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mary Lynn Brown and Ruby Brown, both of Savannah; and three brothers, Floyd Fox of Savannah, Milford Fox of Bristol, Ind., and Raymon Fox of Elkhart, Ind.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and J.W. Fox and a sister, Shirley Fox.
Services were held Saturday, Jan.11, in Savannah with Carlos Hughes, Keaton Franks and Jimmy McGee officiating. Burial followed at Hollands Creek Cemetery in Hardin County.
