Ronnie Sollis departed this life on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at the age of 60 years, 5 months, 23 days. He was born in Lenox,  Tenn., on May 30, 1953, the son of the late Cleatus Edward and Ruby Lee Turnbow Sollis.

Ronnie was an exterminator for Blackwelder Pest Control. He had also worked for Pruitt’s Extermination and Century Electric.  Ronnie enjoyed coin collecting, gun collecting, fishing, trips to Reelfoot Lake. He also enjoyed time spent with family and  friends, especially his grandsons. Ronnie was an avid Tennessee football fan.

Ronnie is survived by his daughters, Crystal Sollis of Lexington, Tenn., and Stacy Sollis of Destin, Fla.; grandchildren, Colton  Montgomery, Dakota Montgomery, and Kamron Garner; sister, Susan Smith and husband Jerry of Saltillo, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Nancy Sollis of Lexington, Tenn.; special friend, Judy McCartney of Adamsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Edward Sollis.

Services were held on Monday, Nov.  25, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial followed at the Sardis Cemetery in Sardis, Tenn.
