Louella Ratliff Robertson was born on April 18, 1915, in Hardin County to the late John and Daisy Prince Ratliff. On Feb. 6, 1937, she was united in marriage to John Edward Robertson, who preceded her in death on June 22, 1997. Mrs. Robertson was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Savannah and a member of the Home Demonstration Club of Savannah. 

She was a homemaker, who loved vegetable and flower gardening and also loved to sew for others. Mrs. Robertson departed this life on Dec. 2 at Hardin Medcial Center at the age of 98 years, 7 months and 14 days.

She was survived by a daughter, Ruth Whitlow of Savannah; two grandchildren, Karen Talley and Keith Whitlow; two  greatgrandchildren, Shannon Talley and April Grace Whitlow and two step-great-grandchildren, Clagett Talley and Michelle Walker.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Amy Newman, Elsie Gibbs, Dorothy Phillips, Doskie White, and Clarice Ratliff; and a brother, Glenn Ratliff.

Services were held Dec. 4 in Savannah with Billy Joe Stewart and Jack Maroon officiating. Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery in Morris Chapel.
