Jessie Pipes Risner, 78, died Saturday, Dec. 7, in Savannah. Ms. Risner was born in Hardin County to the late Audie and Sarah Harris Brown.
She is survived by a son, Frankie Harris of Savannah; three daughters, JoAnn Hickman of Savannah, Carolyn Sue Risner and Janice Brewer, both of Waynesboro; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Risner was also preceded in death by two sons, James and Charles Pipes.
Services were held Dec. 10 in Savannah with Casey Jones officiating. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery in Hardin County.
