Colby Harrison (12-4-13) service 12-8-13

 

 

 

Colby Harrison departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the age of 21. He was born in New Albany, Miss., on Nov. 15, 1992, he son of Jay Harrison and Dena Ward. Colby was a manager at The Outpost General Store and had previously been employed with Balanced Life Ministry.

He was a member of the Bruton Branch Baptist Church. Colby is survived by his parents, Jay and Cher Edge Harrison of  Pickwick Dam and Dena and Wayne Ward of Ecru, Miss.; a sister, Karlee Hodge (Rivers) of Pontotoc, Miss.; and grandparents, Scotty and Brenda Edge of Pickwick Dam and Jim and Kay Harrison of New Albany, Miss.

Colby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Ruth Holcomb. Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to  come. For those, who follow godly paths, will rest in peace when they die. Isaiah 57:1-2

Services were held on Dec. 8 in Savannah with Scott Stout and Bill Darnell officiating. Burial followed at Cairo Cemetery in  Ecru, Miss.
