Ruth Watson Blasingim of Pensacola, Fla. formerly of Savannah, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, Sept. 26, at the age of 90. She was born in Hardin County, on June 9, 1923, the daughter of the late Jim and Linnie Smith Watson.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna Sue Falls Rapp of Pensacola, Fla.; two great-granddaughters, several great-great-grandchildren all of Florida; one sister Lucile Gattis of Fort Smith, Ark. and one brother Murray Watson of Millington, Tenn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Berryhill and Robbye Thomas; one brother Ray Watson, all of Savannah and one grandson Vance Shelton of Seminole, Ala.

The body was cremated. Her ashes will be buried at a later date.
