Ruie Reynolds, 92, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Oct. 10. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Lige Daniel “Dan” and Ida Beaterice Franks Irvin. She was united in marriage to Woodrow Hardy Reynolds who preceded her in death.

Mrs.Reynolds was the owner and operator of The Coffee Shop. Ruie had also worked for Hardin Medical Center and Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.

Services were held on Tuesday, Oct.15, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Wade Holbrook officiating. Burial followed at the Neill Cemetery in Savannah.

She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Elisabeth Doyle Shirley; son, Delmer Woodrow Reynolds; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Jewell White of Savannah and Hazel Baugus of Adamsville; brothers, Jack Irvin of Mt. View, Mo. and L.D. Irvin of Savannah.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, Woodrow Hardy Reynolds she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Irvin and great-grandchild.
