Marjorie Hosea, 92, of Youngtown, Ariz. died on Saturday, Oct. 12, in Youngtown, Ariz. She was born in Collinwood, Tenn. the daughter of the late Walter and Mattie Rippy Reaves.She was united in marriage to William Ralph “Dick” Hosea, who preceded
her in death.

Mrs. Hosea was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, friend who always put others first. Mrs. Hosea is formally from Savannah and had been living in Arizona since 2004.

Services were held on Friday, Oct. 18, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial followed at the Neill Cemetery in Savannah.

Mrs. Hosea is survived by her children, Jim Hosea, Jerry Hosea, both of Prescott, Ariz., Shirley Hathcock of Youngtown, Ariz., Sharon Bowen of Urbana, Ohio, Judy Semintendi of Phoenix, Ariz. and Sherry Bizzarri of Cave Creek, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bud, Ronald and Ted Reaves and one sister, Linda Reaves.
