Kay Garner (10-24-13) service 10-26-13

Kay Garner, 65, of Adamsville,died on Thursday, Oct. 24, at home. She was born in Selmer, Tenn., the daughter of Juanita Barnett Elliott and the late George D. Elliott. She was united in marriage to Gary Garner, who survives.

Mrs. Garner was co-owner of Fatcats Cafe in Adamsville and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Good Hope Baptist Church in Adamsville with Tim Elrod officiating. Burial followed at Good Hope Cemetery in Adamsville.

In addition to her mother and husband, Gary Garner, she is survived by her daughter, Cathy Maness of Adamsville; two grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Molly McDaniel and Martha Cunningham both of Adamsville.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie Elliot and Greg Elliot.
