Carey Blakley (10-22-13) service 10-24-13

Carey “Ken” Blakley, 60, of Counce, died on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Counce. He was born in Ripley, Tenn., the son of Dorothy Inez Lovelace Blakley and the late Carey Franklin Blakley. He was united in marriage to Brenda Bailey, who survives.

Mr. Blakley worked as a general contractor, stock broker, real estate broker and a sales consultant. He was a member of Germantown Methodist Church and Pickwick United Methodist Church.

Services were held on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Michael Sansone and Sam Sansone officiating. Burial followed at the Patrick Church Cemetery in Tishomingo County, Miss.

In addition to his wife, Brenda of Counce, he is survived by his children, Carey Justin Blakley of Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Carey Stallings Blakley of Atlanta, Ga.; one grandchild and his mother, Dorothy Inez Blakley of Ripley, Tenn.
