Brenda Sue Jarrett (10-21-13) service 10-23-13

Brenda Sue Jarrett, 65, of Savannah, died on Monday, Oct. 21. She was born in Savannah, daughter of Harold Dewayne Jarrett, who preceded her in death and Alfa Irene Jarrett, who survives.

Mrs. Jarrett was a homemaker and worked for Park Rest Nursing Home as a certified nurse assistant.

Services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Old Union Church in Adamsville with Earline Cummings officiating. Burial followed at the Old Union Cemetery in Adamsville.

In addition to her mother, Death Notices Alfa Irene Jarrett of Savannah, she is survived by six children, Teddy Ray Jarrett of  Bethel Springs, Tenn., Donna Sue Abrams of Augusta, Ga, Phillip Gene Tilley of Savannah, Jeannie Louise Kennedy of Milledgeville, James Paul Tilley of Savannah and Chastity Nicole Talley of Savannah; 17 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren; four siblings, Douglas Wayne Jarrett of Milledgeville, Lovell Jean Jarrett of Savannah, Harold Ray Jarrett of Adamsville and Ronnie Wayne Jarrett of Savannah; she was also survived by her two former husbands, Hershel Lee Tilley and Johnny Chelett of Savannah.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Porter Harris and Josie Talley Mitchell and George Boss and Maggie Jarrett; and great-grandparents, Andrew and Annis Talley and William and Alphia Mitchell.
