Nancy Jean Jerrell, 62, of Oakridge, Tenn., was ushered into heaven on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Methodist Medical Center. She was surrounded by her loving husband and high school sweetheart, Darrell, her daughter, Wendy and family at her bedside. She courageously battle multiple myeloma for 14 years with grace and a sense of humor.

She was a secretary at East Tennessee Ear, Nose and Throat. Nancy was born on May, 2, 1951, in Savannah. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

Family and friends were Nancy’s passion. She loved working in her flower garden, watching NCIS and football.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Jerrell, of Oakridge, Tenn.; daughter, Wendy Miller of Lenior City; two grandsons; her mother, Robbie Shelby Weatherford of Clinton, Tenn.; two sisters, Diane Wade and Teresa Seivers both of Clinton, Tenn.; two brothers, Danny and Michael Weatherford both of Clinton, Tenn.; three aunts, Lorraine Carr, Bonnie Shelby and Earline Johnson and one uncle Johnny Weatherford all of of Savannah.

She was preceded in death by her father, Linville Weatherford and brother Linville Weatherford Jr.; grandparents, Oscar and Esther Dean Shelby, Elavonee and Edith Beckham Weatherford.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
