Clara Ella Myrick Davis, 85, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Savannah Healthcare Center in Savannah. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late John and Bessie Hollins DeShazier. She was united in marriage to Walter C. Myrick, who preceded her in death.  She was united in marriage to Vernon Davis, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. She went to Souls Harvest Church.

Services were held on Friday, Sept. 27, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial followed at the Graham Cemetery in Savannah.

She is survived by four children, Kathy J. Crotts, Walter Thomas Myrick, Jerry Wayne Myrick and Peggy Dianne Moore, all of Savannah; five stepchildren, Robbie Selph, James Davis, Wilda Kay Mqaritty, Frankie Pipes, all of Savannah, and Wanda Ann Haynes of Parsons, Tenn.; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Oralee Harville of Savannah.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by five children, Larry L. Myrick, Rita Jean Neill, Ricky Lynn Myrick, and infant Baby Myrick; two sisters, Irene Johnson and Eunice Wise, two brothers, Albert DLee DeShazier and Billy DLee DeShazier, and one stepbrother, Billy Davis.
