Chris “Pork Chop” Gattis,40, of Morris Chapel, died on Saturday, Sept. 14. He was born in Savannah the son of Charles Gattis and the late Loudean Tidwell Gattis.
Mr. Gattis worked for 9 years as a truck driver for Bear Trucking Company. He also sold cars with Ronnie Smith Chevrolet, Brose Autoplex, Jones Ford and Blackman Chevrolet. Chris was raised in Crump Pentecostal Church.
Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Gene Hanna officiating. Burial followed in the Crump Cemetery at Crump.
In addition to his father, Charles Gattis of Crump, he is survived by his son, Dylan Gattis of Adamsville; one brother, Gary Gattis of Savannah.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Jeff Gattis.
