Carlene Talley Parks Lake, 66, of Counce, died Saturday, Sept. 7. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Genelle Talley. She was united in marriage to James Parks, who preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage to George Lake who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lake worked in childcare in Counce and she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Savannah.
A graveside service was held on Monday, Sept. 9, at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Iuka, Miss. with Malcolm Garrett officiating.
She is surived by four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Parks Tennison.
