Bobby Gene McCarter, 79, of Saltillo, passed away on Sept. 1, at Adamsville Health and Rehab in Adamsville. He was born in Madison County, the son of the late Jim Hill and Callie Juanita Hayes McCarter.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Clifft McCarter of Saltillo; daughter, Kathy Carter of Jackson, Tenn.; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons in Jackson, Tenn.. Burial followed in Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Tenn,. George A. Smith and Sons, Jackson, Tenn.
