Travis Lee Stricklin, 68, of Savannah, died on Monday, Aug. 12. 
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Martin Johnson Stricklin Sr. and Effie Bevis Stricklin, who survives. He was united in marriage to Carmen Nadine Ortiz who survives.
Mr. Stricklin served his country in the United States Air Force, 1964-1968, as a mechanic. He was self-employed.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the Neill Cemetery in Savannah with Phillip Meek officiating.
In addition to his wife, Carmen Nadine Ortiz, he is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Dawn Casteel, and Kamela Renee Hill; a son, Timothy Lee Stricklin, all of Savannah; four grandchildren; his mother, Effie Bevis Stricklin of Savannah; one brother, Martin Johnson Stricklin, Jr. and two sisters, Bonnie Marie Stricklin and Barbara Marcella Stricklin, all of Savannah.
He was perceded in death by his parents, Martin Johnson Stricklin and Effie Bevis Stricklin.
