Linda K. Gibson, 70, of Savannah, formerly of Memphis, Tenn., died on Wednesday, July 31, in Savannah. She is the daughter of the late Tom and Lois Gray.
Mrs. Gibson retired from University of Tennessee Memphis, and a member of New Hope Fellowship Church in Savannah.
Visitation was held on Monday, Aug. 5, from noon to 2 p.m. Services followed at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, Tenn. Burial followed in the Forest Hill East Cemetery at Memphis, Tenn.
She is survived by her children, Melissa Parker of Navarre, Fla. and James B. Gibson of Millington, Tenn.; four grandchildren; Â one sister, Jean Griffin of Key West, Fla.; and two brothers, Tommy Gray of Adamsville, and James Gray of Savannah.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter and her sister Helen.Â
