Jack Jr. Higgins (7-27-13) service 8-3-13

Jack Jr. Higgins, 67, of Savannah, died on Saturday, July 27, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn.
He was born in Tiptonville, Tenn., the son of the late Manuel “Jack” and Jennie Estella Graham Higgins. 
Mr. Higgins was employed with the City of Savannah Sanitation Department and DeBerry Roofing Company. He was a member of the Love Tabernacle Church of God in Christ of Savannah.
Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Cleophas Cherry officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
He is survived by a daughter, Ramona Higgins of Dyersburg, Tenn.; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; six sisters, Bertha Allen of Tampa, Fla., Jennie Selim of Detroit, Mich., Pearlie Mae Berry and Denise Sharp both of Flint, Mich., Betty Lou Williams of Columbia, Mo., and Lorene Higgins; ten brothers, John Lee Higgins of Tiptonville, Tenn., Grady Lee Higgins of Jackson, Mich., Larry Darnell Higgins of Dyersburg, Tenn., Oliver Jr. Higgins of Savannah, Dexter Higgins of Milwaukee, Wis., Manuel Jr. Higgins of Elkhart, Ind., Jerry Lee Higgins of Indianapolis, Ind., Jerry Louis Higgins of Milwaukee, Wis., and William Higgins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe Louis Graham, Charles Lee Higgins, Robert Louis Higgins and Freddie Lee Higgins.
