Marion Hall (7-1-13) service 7-5-13

Marion E. “Pete” Hall, 90, of Lutts, departed this life on Monday, July 1, in Savannah. He was born in Caruthersville, Mo.,  the son of the late Clyde and Maudie Brown Hall. He was united in marriage to Romie Lucas, who survives.
Mr. Hall retired from Harmon Automotive. He served as an Army Ordnance in WWII.
He was a member of the Valley View House of Prayer in Waterloo, Ala.
Services were held on Friday, July 5, at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Gary Duboise, Larry Burbank officiating. Burial was held in the Fielder Cemetery at Hardin County.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Joyce Smith of Lutts, Frances Cobb of Florence, Ala., James Larry Lucas of Lutts, six grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Hall of Hayti, Mo.,  and Bunia Vails of Toone, Tenn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Smith; a sister, Cecil Alexander; brothers, Sonny, Radine, and James Hall, and two infant brothers.
